Currently the SA Children’s home functions as a home, family and safe space for 44 children between the ages of 6 and 18. It’s main aim is to offer a safe space from an often volatile home environment. As a home it needs to feel welcoming and homely as this is the space they will be living in for a minimum of 2 years.
Alive Foundation in collaboration with the SA Children’s Home and @carinmakes is doing a gradual makeover of the entire house starting with the boy’s dormitory.
